Supporting Our Students
Bryan’s Department, Career Services, prepares students for employment in their respective fields. Bryan assists students with resume preparation, interview strategies, identifying industry-specific job leads and provides general job search support for BU’s students and Alumni. Bryan also coordinates BU’s Commencement Ceremonies and enjoys seeing the excitement and feeling of accomplishment that graduates project during the commencement phase of enrollment.
Education and Experience
Bryan has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a minor in History. Bryan began his professional career working in Human Resources. After years in Human Resources, he began working as a Certified Job Developer for Vocational Rehabilitation of Missouri, where he specialized in assisting justice-involved individuals re-enter society. Bryan has worked in post-secondary education for more than fifteen years.
Professional Involvement
Bryan is a frequent guest at the Missouri Job Center, where he instructs employment readiness classes. Since 2015, Bryan has been a board member of the non-profit organization “Re-entry & Resources.
Interesting Facts
Bryan and his wife, Crystal, lived in Germany for several years and enjoy staying in touch with friends in Europe. In his free time, Bryan enjoys fly fishing and connecting with the outdoors.
