Transferring Your Military Credits to Bryan University

To help you get on the right track toward completing your training and beginning a new career as quickly as possible, Bryan University offers the option of using both college credits you have earned, as well as the demonstration of competency gained as a part of your military training that is revealed by nationally recognized college-equivalency standards.

We know you’ve made a commitment to serving our country, and we want to do everything possible to help you put the information and skills you have gained to good use both while serving and after.

At Bryan University, Military Credits are Valuable Credits.

Just because you’re transitioning into a new chapter and new role in life as a student, doesn’t mean you have to leave the past in the past. We know you gained invaluable knowledge and competency through your military experiences, and we want you to carry that into your training.

At Bryan University, we honor the following transfer credit opportunities:

  • Evaluation of previously earned credit from another accredited postsecondary educational institution,
  • Achievement of College Level Examination Program (CLEP) thresholds,
  • Achievement of DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) (formerly DANTES) assessment thresholds, and/or
  • Review of an ACE College Credit Recommendation Service transcript.

In particular, ACE’s Military Guide presents credit recommendations for formal courses
and occupations offered by all branches of the military:

  • Army
  • Marine Corps
  • Navy
  • Air Force
  • Coast Guard

Bryan University will use both your college credits and your military training to match
what you have earned with our programs, wherever possible.

Your Training is Customized for You
