Bachelor of Science – Exercise, Nutrition, and Health Promotion

The Exercise, Nutrition and Health Promotion Bachelor Degree Program will provide the student with the skills necessary to plan, develop and implement physical fitness and health programs for individuals, organizations and communities.

They will be familiar with industry terminology, biomechanics, exercise physiology, rehabilitation, nutrition and management techniques needed to promote healthy lifestyles and health education
programs. Coursework prepares students for entry-level positions in the areas of exercise physiology, lifestyle and weight management, health
education and health promotion.

Provide and manage health education programs that help individuals, families, and their communities maximize and maintain healthy lifestyles. Collect and analyze data to identify community needs prior to planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, policies, and environments. May serve as a resource to assist individuals, other healthcare workers, or the community, and may administer fiscal resources for health education programs.
