Business Administration and Management – Emphasis in Salon/Spa Management
The Associate in Business Administration and Management – Emphasis in Salon/Spa Management program provides the student with the academic foundation required of entry-level management within the health and beauty industry. Students can take their health and beauty industry knowledge and add business skills to include studies in business communications, business law, marketing, and human resource management. This program aims to prepare health and beauty industry students who desire to expand into the administration/business side of this sector.
*Students must pass the state board of cosmetology exam to earn this degree.
**Students must present a copy of their current state cosmetology license during the enrollment process to be enrolled into the Health and Beauty program.
***Students can transfer a maximum of 40.5 quarter credit hours from their accredited cosmetology program into the vocation core, with a valid license. If the 40.5 quarter credits are not met, the student can make up the difference using approved business electives.
