Bryan University and Lebanon College of Cosmetology in Lebanon, MO, have announced the signing of an articulation agreement that allows Lebanon College graduates to transfer clock hours toward credit in Bryan University’s Business Administration and Management degree.
“We are very excited to work directly with the staff, faculty, students, and graduates of yet another fine partner in the field of beauty,” said Michael Sowers, Executive Director of Bryan University’s online division.
The Bryan University program is an associate of applied science degree in Business Administration and Management with an Emphasis in Salon and Spa Management. Licensed cosmetologists who have graduated from an accredited cosmetology school and who meet the university’s admission requirements can be accepted into the program. It is offered 100% online and can be completed in as few as 40 weeks with all courses transferring into the university’s Bachelor of Science degree in business. Andrea Hackenwerth, Admissions Manager for the program at Bryan University, says the program is a great way a beauty industry professional can expand their business skills or grow their career. “Having been a cosmetologist, I know what kind of an opportunity this is, but also how incredible people in this industry are. We look forward to serving Lebanon College graduates in this program and partnership.”
Lebanon College president, Christopher Elliott, says the partnership will “allow graduates to further and expand their knowledge in business and will level the playing fields for Lebanon College graduates and the cosmetology industry as a whole. ” Elliott went on to say “Bryan University has a solid degree program and we love the fact Bryan University is a very involved in the communities they serve. “
