Bryan University and the Academy of Professional Cosmetology in Rogers, AR, have announced the signing of an articulation agreement that allows Academy of Professional Cosmetology graduates to transfer cosmetology school clock hours toward credit in Bryan University’s Business Administration and Management degree.
“We are thrilled to work directly with the staff, faculty, students, and graduates of another fine partner in the field of beauty,” said Michael Sowers, Executive Director of Bryan University’s online division.
The Bryan University program is an associate of applied science degree in Business Administration and Management with an Emphasis in Salon and Spa Management. Licensed cosmetologists who have graduated from an accredited cosmetology school and who meet the university’s admission requirements can be accepted into the program. It is offered 100% online and can be completed in as few as 40 weeks with all courses transferring into the university’s Bachelor of Science degree in business. Andrea Hackenwerth, Admissions Manager for the program at Bryan University, says the partnership with the Academy of Professional Cosmetology is a great way a beauty industry professional can expand their business skills or grow their career. “Having been a cosmetologist, I know what kind of an opportunity this is, but also how incredible people in this industry are. We look forward to serving Academy of Professional Cosmetology graduates in this exciting program.”
